Alumni Centre LCD projector and Audio setup
Tap the screen to get the screen to wake-up and display an image
The following image should appear. If you do not have the LCD projector control screen as shown below, press the Video button -- top middle of screen -- to bring up the video control screen.
Press the On button for each LCD projector needing to be turned on and lower the screen. An indicator will show the progress of the LCD projector as it warms up. When facing the front the screens are as labeled on the control panel. NOTE – if the screen does not come all the way down you can press the screen down arrow to make the screen come down the full distance.
VGA Input Setup:
VGA 1 and VGA 2 inputs are beside the control panel. VGA 3 is on the left side of the stage. VGA 4 in the North wall.
Press the appropriate VGA button
Press the projector button to send the computer output to that Projector/screen.
Use the Up or Down arrow buttons to adjust each projector’s screen height. The audio plug below the VGA 1 input is the audio input for that VGA connection This is also how a MP3 player can be connected to the PA system.
HDMI Input Setup:
Press the appropriate HDMI button
Press the projector button to send the computer output to that Projector/screen.
Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to adjust each projector’s screen height.
Audio Controls:
Press the Audio button – top middle of the screen -- to get to the audio control screen.
There are two handheld mikes, and two lapel mikes. The mikes have been labeled Hand Held 1, Hand Held 2, Lav 1, and Lav 2.
The ON switch is located on the handle, below the LCD screen of the handheld mike, and on the lapel mike it is located at the top of the microphone. Use the left and right arrow buttons to adjust individual mike levels.
Pressing the middle of the slider turns mute on or off for that audio input.
Other Controls:
Mic Plate – Touch Panel controls the 2 XLR inputs located by this touch panel
Mic Plate – North Wall controls the 2 XLR inputs located on the North wall
HDMI controls all the HDMI inputs – currently panels 3 and 4 do not support HDMI audio
VGA controls all the VGA inputs – currently panels 3 and 4 do not support VGA audio
There is a master volume control located on the left side of the video control screen. Note, turning the volume up to maximum will cause a hissing noise.
Secondary Volume and Power Controls:
There is a system ON/OFF and master volume control located at the main entrance to the Alumni Centre.

Changing the laptops display output mode:
Press the Windows key and the P key
[Edit mode is disabled for mapped boxes]
The upper cable is a HDMI which allows you to directly connect to the monitor or projector
Many meeting rooms have a click share dongle that allows you to connect wirelessly to the monitor or projector
