If the laptop image is not showing on the screen -- projector is displaying a blue screen or no image -- try:
If there is no audio try:
The system should be set to HDMI input by default. HDMI is the preferred connection method as the image quality is better and no need for an extra connection for sound.
There is a VGA cable and separate audio cable if required.
Use the Volume dial on the far right of the panel to control the room volume. If the podium losses power or is unplugged the volume gets reset to zero. It takes a lot of turns to get all five bars to show. There is also a volume control on the laptop -- speaker in the lower right. Many applications like Youtube, VLC video player have a volume control. Note, sound does not work unless the system is turned on.
There is a separate volume control for the mic should it be installed.
Press the System OFF button to turn off the LCD projector.
Connector Cables:
The cable on the far left is the HDMI cable.
The two cables in the middle are the VGA and audio cables.
The cable on the far right is the network cable.

For when there is only a VGA connection (Currently JMB) there are:

If the HDMI connection on the laptop is not working:
