Accounts & Passwords

MyPassword.OldsCollege.ca

mypassword.oldscollege.ca is a webpage you can use to unlock, reset, and change your password to your Olds College email, Moodle, campus computer login, and Olds College secure wifi.

Change my Password

You can use these instructions to change your password if you want to change it or if your password has expired.

Step 1: Go to mypassword.oldscollege.ca

Step 2: Click on 'Change my Password'

Step 3: Enter your student ID number as your username (Staff username will be the first letter of your first name and your full last name ex.James Smith = jsmith)

Step 5: You will then be prompted to create a new password. Please ensure it is 8 characters long with at least 1 number. You will need to enter the new password twice, just to confirm it.

Step 6: Click 'Submit'

Keep in Mind: If you have not changed your password for your Olds College accounts, please go to the 'Student Login First Time' tab above

Keep in Mind: If you enter your password wrong 3 times it will lock your account for 30 minutes - You must wait this 30 minutes before you can unlock your account

Reset my Password

You can use these instructions to change your password if you do not know your current password.

Keep in Mind: You must have your profile updated and security questions made before you can use this function.

Step 1: Go to mypassword.oldscollege.ca

Step 2: Click on 'Reset my Password'

Step 3: Enter your student ID number as your username (Staff username will be the first letter of your first name and your full last name ex.James Smith = jsmith)

Step 4: Enter your security question answers

Unlock my Account

Step 3: Enter your student ID number as your username (Staff username will be the first letter of your first name and your full last name ex.James Smith = jsmith)

Step 5: Click the 'Unlock your account button'

Step 6: Click 'OK'

Edit my Profile

You can use these instructions to set your security questions for any of the above functions.

Step 1: Go to mypassword.oldscollege.ca

Step 2: Click on 'Edit my Profile'

Step 3: Enter your student ID number as your username (Staff username will be the first letter of your first name and your full last name ex.James Smith = jsmith)

Step 4: Enter your password 

Step 5: You can now set up or change your security questions

Keep in Mind: The answer to your security questions cannot have a word from the question in it. (ex. What is your favorite food? - you answer cannot be "Food")

Step 6: Click 'Submit' when you are done

Step 7: Click 'OK'

 

Keep in Mind: If you have not changed your password for your Olds College accounts, please go to the 'Student Login First Time' tab above

Students Login for the First Time

To access your Olds College account for the first time you must change your password from the initial temporary one. 

To Change your Password Off Campus

Step 1: Go to mypassword.oldscollege.ca
Step 2: Click on Change my Password, it will now ask you to login

Change Password

Step 3: The username will be your Student ID number, with all the zeroes (e.g 000123456)
Step 4: The default password is PWMMDDYY, where MMDDYY is your birthdate (e.g. PW012090 for January 20, 1990)
Step 5: Click login
Step 6: It will now ask you to fill out security questions for future management.

  • Questions 1 and 2 choose from the drop down menu, Question 3 please create your own.

Keep in Mind: your security question answer cannot be apart of the question. Example: Your favorite food cannot be food.

Step 7: Hit submit
Step 8: Choose a new password, it must be a minimum of 8 characters long

Keep in Mind: If you fail putting in the password correctly three times it will lock you out of the system for 30 minutes

 

To Change your Password On Campus

Step 1: Go to any of the Olds College campus computers
Step 2: Turn it on and hit the enter button to access the login screen 
Step 3: The username will be your Student ID number, with all the zeroes (e.g 000123456)
Step 4: The default password is PWMMDDYY, where MMDDYY is your birthdate (e.g. PW012090 for January 20, 1990)
Step 5: Hit enter or the little arrow beside the password box to login
Step 6: It will now ask you to change your password, hit okay
Step 7: Choose a new password, it must be a minimum of 8 characters long
Step 8: Hit enter after confirming the new password to change your password
Step 9: After logging in a security question form will pop up, asking you to fill out security questions for future management.

  • Questions 1 and 2 choose from the drop down menu, Question 3 please create your own.

Keep in Mind: your security question answer cannot be apart of the question. Example: Your favorite food cannot be food.

Step 10: Hit submit

Campus Computer Login - Students

Step 1: Go to any of the Olds College campus computers

Step 2: Turn the computer on and hit the 'Enter' button to access the login screen

Step 3: The username will be your Student ID number, with all the zeros

  • 000111234

Step 4: Enter your password - it is the same as your olds college email and Moodle

Step 5: Hit the 'Enter' button or the little arrow beside the password box to login

Campus Computer Login - Staff

Step 1: Go to any of the Olds College campus computers
Step 2: Turn it on and hit the enter button to access the login screen 
Step 3: The username will be the first letter of your first name and your full name

  •  James Smith = jsmith
  • Sally Jones = sjones

Step 4: Enter your password - it is the same as your olds college email

Step 5: Hit the 'Enter' button or the little arrow beside the password box to login

Olds College Email Login - Students

Gmail is the official email of Olds College and every staff member and student has an Olds College email account with access to the full Google Apps Suite. Gmail and the Google Apps are available from any internet connected device.

Olds College Email Login - Staff

Step 5: Click 'Sign in'

Library/NEOS Pin

When searching the library catalog you can place items on hold from the Olds College library and libraries who belong to the NEOS library consortium. You require your library barcode and pin in order to place items on Hold. You can also renew items online via NEOS.

Changing your Library/NEOS Pin

Step 1: Open your internet browser

Step 2: Step 2: Go to the Olds College home page, on the top right hand side click on 'Sign In' or go to catalogue.library.ualberta.ca/myaccount/

Step 2: Click on 'NEOS Library Consortium' button

Step 3: Enter your 13 digit barcode from your student ID card or your library card

Step 4: Click 'Forgot PIN?' 

Step 5: Follow the instructions to update/change your pin

Moodle Login - Students

Moodle is the online course management system used by the Olds College to display your course content such as course outlines, assignments, notes and other valuable information provide by your Instructors. Please follow these steps to get logged into your Moodle.

How to Access Moodle

MyOC Login

My Olds College is the portal where you can pay your tuition and fees, view your timetable and final grades, and update your personal information. Please follow these steps to get logged into your My Olds College.

How to Access MyOC

Step 1: Open your internet browser

Step 2: Go to the Olds College home page, on the top right hand side click on 'Sign In' or go to https://my.oldscollege.ca/PROD/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin

Log in to MyOC - First Time

Step 4: If you are not able to access your account after 2-3 tries please click on the 'Forgot FIN?' button 

Keep in Mind: After the fourth (4) unsuccessful try, your account will be disabled - please fill out the below "Need Assistance?" form for assistance

T2202A Printing

Login to MyOC

Step 1: Open your internet browser

Step 2: Go to the Olds College home page, on the top right hand side click on 'Sign In' or go to https://my.oldscollege.ca/PROD/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin

Step 3: Enter your student ID number as your User ID include all the zeros (e.g. 000111234)

Step 6: If you are not able to access your account after 2-3 tries please click on the 'Forgot FIN?' button

Printing T2202A Form

Step 1: Click on 'Menu'

Step 2: Click on 'My Transactions'

Step 3: Click on 'T2202A Form Year'

Step 4: Choose the year you require from the drop down

Step 5: Click the green action button

Step 6: Choose 'Print T2202A'
